If you have a website today, someone will try to break into it or steal personal or company information, like your email address.
If a person is not trying to infultrate your site then the chances are that a spcecial computer program called a ’spybot’, will be attempting to do the same. It is a sad fact of the times we live in, so we just need to deal with it.
We use the latest Technology to prevent unauthorised people from accessing website data, and special features to stop the ’spybots’.
The easiest way for ’spybots’ to gain access to you is via a data entry form that is open to the public, like a Contact or Site Registration page. For example:
We include special protection on all data entry pages which are open to the public. We incorporate Security Code or ’CAPTCHA’ images into the data entry forms. A CAPTCHA is a graphically distorted image of some text and or numbers that people can easily read even though ’spybots’ cannot. So we ask our users to enter the code which a ’Spybot’ could not. For example:
You will see CAPTCHA in action on our Contacts Details and Quote pages. Without this protection we would quickly get overloaded with email spam generated by ’spybots’. We put this protection into all of our websites at no extra charge.
